Now that I have put up all of what has been going on, let's talk about what's coming up.
MY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Yea buddy! I'll be 19. That's crazy to think. And in a year I'll be 20! No stopping me now! Mwa ha ha.
But for my birthday this year, I will actually be doing things a little different. Here at school we are having a Fasting LTE from Thursday morning to Sunday morning. Not only are we fasting food...but we aren't allowed to talk either. !.
No cake for me. :(
But! I am so excited about being in the the presence of GOD for a whole 3 days! I know it's going to be tough. But His presence is going to be so thick on this campus. We will have worship all day...and we can come and go. Then we journal, read, draw...or just spend time with Him.
It's going to be something. I can't wait to see what He has to say to me.

Time to update…
It’s been a while. I know. Give me a break. I have to remind myself to breathe every now and then.
It’s been an interesting week. Our work place had spirit week. And every day we had to dress up in theme. Here’s the thing…there are only 5 of us. That 5 out of the 600+ kids here dressed up spontaneously.
…I’ve earned a lot of new friends. :D
Apparently people want to be your friend when you stick out and look like a weirdo. Monday I was pirate. Wednesday I was a super hero…but I just made a mask…my cape was bugging me and getting caught in doors. Thursday was pirate vs. ninja day. I was the most AMAZING ninja! All you could see was my eyes and I looked so intimidating! Lol. And today I sit here typing in fairy wings and a sparkly crown on my head. People have gotten used to it by now. I think Monday when I dress normally again there are going to be a lot of disappointed…ok…my friend next to me is actually itching his head on my wing. Great…just great.
So, It’s the week of Halloween. And right now in Tyler there is this thing called Hell House. Hell House is a type of Christian haunted house. They take you through a series of rooms that represent all the evil in this world, then they take you down into hell, and then through the crucifixion and resurrection. It’s pretty amazing. And after you have been through everything they have councilors that come and talk with you about what you saw and how you feel about it. People come to Christ every day at this event and eyes are opened to just how real Heaven and Hell are. When I heard about it I really wanted to go, but I wanted to council too. I wanted to be a part of what they were doing there. So I told my friends at work and we all piled in the car and headed out there. And let me tell you…it was amazing!
So in order to council you have to go through hell house (Just know they aren’t letting any random person come and council…it’s cause we are from Honor Academy…there aren’t any crazies there) :D Hell house is such an experience. You go are in the scene of an abortion, a suicide, a car wreck, a man beating his wife, a gay marriage…and way more. The two that hit me the most is when they take you to hell. They put you in a coffin, shut the door then all gets quiet. Then they start bashing on the doors and screaming. So what I did was back away from the door but the wall behind you opens up! And you can’t see anything but you hear this loud crashing a wind blowing around. It’s almost like a dark void behind you waiting to suck you in. It almost felt like the threshold of hell. Another part was when I was in the room with Christ. He was 5 feet in front of me, covered in blood, and being whipped brutally. Then the man whipping him turned to the girl next to me and said, “Here…you try.” She shook her head and he said, “Why not? You do it every day.” That hit me hard. Just to SEE it.
So the whole thing was really eye opening to go through. It didn’t affect me too much. But I knew what it would do to those who were not founded in their faith or just flat out refusing Christ. The rest of the night I spent counseling and praying with the people who went through it. I never thought I would be doing this. Not in a million years. Actually a year ago I would have been terrified of trying to minister to someone. But I did and actually saw 3 girls come to Christ and one boy rededicate his life. And this guy. Man this is amazing. Ok so I just so happened to hear about Hell House. And I just so spontaneously got the idea to ask my teammates with me. And it just so happens that one of my teammate’s family was actually there. We had no idea. And then, the really crazy part…her brother has been going through a rough time. She hasn’t been sure that he was saved at all. And right after he went through Hell House he came to me for counseling. Now I had already knew so much of what he was going through so I was able to talk and help him through those things. What I thought was crazy was that if he had went to anybody else…they wouldn’t have been able to reach him. But he and I had the greatest talk! And he chose to rededicate his life. And it was so amazing to be a part of that. :]
Hell House was def. and eye opener. Not too the realism of heaven and hell…but to the need for those of us with a growing relationship with Christ to reach out to others who are stumbling or looking for a way out of the dark.
